Vice President of Sales

The position is responsible for consistent quarter over quarter sales growth and revenue.   This individual develops specific solutions that address specific problems for 4D Healthware target markets and customers.  As an executive team member the position participates in all planning, budget setting and strategic direction activities.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Development of targeted sales goals/meeting sales objectives – both short and long term, national and global
  • Create plans and strategies for developing business and achieving 4D Healthware’s sales goals and in accordance with the established business plans of the company
  • Manage the sales team , operations and resources to deliver profitable growth
  • Define and coordinate all sales training efforts for 4D Healthware. These should enable staff to achieve their potential and support 4D Healthware sales objectives.
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting
  • Compile information and data to customer and prospect interactions
  • Manage the Request for Proposal (RFP) process
  • Build and maintain a proposal and RFP tracking process
  • Assist in the creation and development of new products and services for the company
  • Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to the 4D Healthware leadership team
  • Work closely with the marketing function to establish successful channel and partner programs
  • Manage key customer relationships and lead on closing strategic opportunities
  • Travel and handle all sales meetings with customers and partners and develop key relationships


Education and Experience Required

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree with at least 10 years of experience in Sales Management
  • Leads and directs the work of others. Able to effectively interact with all departmental personnel
  • Experience in sales strategy development with a proven history of success
  • Knowledge about the economic impact of business and sales strategy
  • Eight or more years of senior level sales management
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems ,ability to prioritize and organize
  • Knowledge of how the business functions and how each department relates to one another
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain effective relationships with customers and stakeholders in the business
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to incorporate best practices for all sales strategies and business units
  • Experience working in a high growth startup environment
  • Ability to achieve desired outcomes through effective use of collaboration and negotiation skills
